SPINNING YARN WITH A DROP SPINDLE – with Andy Barrett

Time: 12:30PM to 3:30PM
Location: Skein Machine Yarn Store, 3/276 Shepherds Hill Rd, Eden Hills, Adelaide, 5050

ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS CLASS:

• Learn to tie a leader (and make your own),
• Draft fleece using “Park and Draft” / “Short Forward Draft” methods.
• Ply to produce a sample of plied yarn.

STUDENTS TO SUPPLY: Spindle (top whorl, bottom whorl or Turkish) of between 25g and 45g. ( note: All fibre provided )

NOTE: BYO Spindle or purchase one in the store on the day.
