Celebrating ‘Tommy’ The Who’s fourth studio album which was released in 1969.

A concept album which made it onto the big screen, as Ken Russell wrote and directed the film adaptation based around the rock opera.

The film features a stellar cast with Oliver Reed, Elton John, Robert Powell, Jack Nicholson, Ann Margret and the boys in the band, with Roger Daltrey taking the leading role of Tommy.

One of the most memorable performances in the film is provided by Tina Turner ‘The Acid Queen’.
