On November 24th 1964, The Who played the first of 22 consecutive Tuesday night gigs at The Marquee Club in London. The band were paid 50 for each gig.

During this period, the group were appearing anywhere they could, playing in back rooms in pubs and small clubs in and around the London area.

This T-shirt features the artwork from the Who’s residency poster at The Marquee, which shows Pete in a classic high energy swinging arm guitar pose.

The swing tag is a reproduction ticket for one of the gigs at 90 Wardour Street, a nice collector’s memento.

Colours: Black body, black and grey artwork.
