This beanie is a Fair Ilse beanie. Only two colours are used on any row. It features the a very cute cow looking over a picket fence which is repeated around the beanie. It also has a ribbed brim.
The Pattern: The pattern has information, general instruction and some tips on how to keep your float not too tight to retain stretchiness. This is a chart based pattern with some written instructions. There are 4 sizes included.
Stitches:Knit, Purl, Cast on
Materials:You will need 3 colours, approximately 30g of main colour (brim) and 20g of the other colours (in DK yarn).
Circular knitting needles, I recommend 3.75mm for the brim and 4.00mm for the rest of the beanie. If you have 60cm circular needles will be perfect. When you decrease you will need needles in the larger size for the way you prefer to decrease.
