Carded lambswool.Thiswool comes from mixed sheep breeds and vary from batch to batch.

Core wool meant to be inside your creation and not seen when finished. You will be covering it with your finishing layer.

You don’t have to use core wool our regular carded NZ or Maori wool can be used throughoutthe project.

Please Note: This is a natural product and can sometimes have a strong smell, even after processing.Baavet is our least processed wool and smells of sheep.

If you are sensitive to it, you can leave it to air or soak in warm water with some fairy for an hour or so.
You can then spin it in the washing machine to get the water out.

Any wool can be used as core wool. You can even use polyester batting if you like. The idea is that the wool will make the base of your creation and will not be seen.

You don’t have to use core wool at all, especially for smaller items. You can use any carded wool as core and as finishing wool.

We offer loose, chunky, lambswool and carded batts as core wool.
